Windows 10 & Medisoft

On July 29, 2015, Microsoft’s Windows 10 is set for release. McKesson needs time to test Medisoft & Medisoft Clinical on that new operating system. We strongly recommend that you hold off on installing Windows 10 in relation to your Medisoft & Medisoft Clinical. McKesson will be testing and will announce when those products can officially be accredited on Windows 10. MedTech will announce it on our forum and social media as soon as the information is available.

Windows 10 & Medisoft — 6 Comments

  1. I’ve downloaded windows 10 and medisoft error message Mapa.Exe not responding. sometimes it opens and sometimes I have to reboot or let it sit for 15 minutes then it will open

  2. We installed V20 at end of September, I keep getting messages about installing windows 10 for free, but we are hesitant after seeing your post here about problems with the new Edge browser and the Mapa.exe messages.
Today is 12/2/15 have these things been resolved and do you recommend updating to windows 10 or what’s that status or these two working together?
    Thank you!

  3. Hi There,
We are using Medisoft vs 19 service pack 1 and recently installed windows 10. We can get Medisoft to open but can’t get reports to run and they freeze up in the data box. Should we revert back to windows 8.1 or is there a fix out there?

  4. You probably should revert back to Windows 8.1 because eventually you are going to run into the issue with Windows 10. Or, alternatively you should upgrade your Medisoft v20 which fixes the problem you are having with reports as well. If you stay on v19, you need to get service pack 1 AND the the hot fix to address the issue with the reports freezing.
