Per Surescripts:

Prescribers will obtain faults from a drugstore after they direct replies to Refill or Change demands beyond 10 days after the demand was directed. Fault code 601-008 will always be the fault code obtained. Patients are expecting a prescriber's reply to demands in an apt manner and absence of apt response might result in a patient with no medicine and disruption to treatment.

Prescribers are urged to reply to replenishment demands as rapidly as achievable.
