"You do not have rights to this data path"

Post by larnold » Tue Sep 02, 2014 11:04 am

This has happened once before months ago and I can't remember how it was fixed. When I try to connect to Medisoft, I get the message "you do not have rights to this data path".

Can anyone help me get connected??

Thanks!

When you click "Change Data" do you see the correct path to your Medisoft root data folder (usually Medidata)? If so, what is the path?

If you browse to \\server\medisoft in Windows, can you create and delete a file? Is the firewall turned off on the server?

I am having the same problem. New to OH Pro. Connected computer to database, it required me to register. I chose 'Register Later' and accessed db with no problems. Exited the program and got the information required to register. Started the program again and got the message "You Do Not Have Rights to this path." I can create and delete files in the directory. ANyone have any idea what is going on and how to fix?

It could be your firewall settings. Try turning firewall off on both server and client.

I’m also having the issue. I find it strange that no one has an answer.
