Are these Simple837 claims? If not are they paper or electronic claims?

The rules are different between paper and Revenue Management. I don't know about Simple837.

To print NDC on paper claims enter the NDC code into the Transaction Description and it will print in the red area above the charge detail on the paper form.

Gavin,

That is where I am putting the NDC and it still does not print on the HCFA form.

Also do you know of a way to track how many electronic claims are billed out in a month with medisoft??

Thanks

Make sure you are using a CMS-1500 report template that came with Medisoft. For example try CMS -1500 (Primary). The HCFA-1500s are old report templates that shouldn't be used anymore.

I am not sure what you mean by "tracking". We normally track by running the standard aging reports. If you need a count of how many claims were submitted, try Reports -> Analysis Reports -> Electronic Claims Analysis - Summary.

Ok Gavin,

I tried using the original CMS-1500 form and the NDVC# is still not showing up on the paper claim, I cannot figure this out :(

To print NDC on paper claims enter the NDC code into the Transaction Description. The NDC field on the procedure code is for ANSI claims.
