Itemized Statements

Post by CoachHousePT » Mon Sep 23, 2019 9:53 am

Good morning, everyone.

My clinic has struggled (I am relatively new to billing) with the idea of itemized statements for attorneys. The walkout Receipt (all transactions) seems to check the right boxes for them, but it does not show how much insurance has paid. Is there a better statement? A follow-up if not, is there a way to copy that receipt in the Medisoft Report Designer so I can edit fields?

Thank you,

Casey

Hi Casey, have you tried printing the Patient Account Ledger?

In the Medisoft Report Designer if you click the Walkout Receipt radio button under Report Styles when you go to open a report template, then you should see the built in walkout receipts there to edit. :D

Thank you for your response. Am I able to edit these without overwriting the already saved statement?

You can do a Save As to save the report with a different name. In addition, if you edit any of the reports that come with Medisoft, then you will be forced to save the report with a different name.
