In claims management edit the claim and enter a 7 (replacement) in the Frequency Type field. There is the option 6 (corrected) which means you are creating a new claim in Medisoft with just the additional items that were not billed on the original claim.

If you send with Frequency 7, for most insurances/clearinghouses, you must also enter the ICN on the claim as well. They will reject on Trizetto without the ICN and Freq 7.
To enter the ICN-You will find this in the Case>Medicaid and Tricare Tab>Original Reference number. I have recently noticed that Medicare rejects claims with Freq 7 at the clearinghouse, or they do on Trizetto, so I only send those with the ICN.

The ICN is the internal claim number the insurance assigns to each claim. If you have an EOB with a rejection, it will have the ICN on there somewhere.
