Unprocessed EMR charges problem

Post by TCB » Sun Jul 23, 2017 3:35 pm

Our Unprocessed EMR Charges are not changing from red X to Yellow check on the main screen. The edit screen shows all yellow checks so we have to post from the edit screen. Help for a solution is appreciated.

What issue does the Yellow Check indicate?

So, is there something wrong with the SSN - like dashes in it instead of all digits? How are they entered in Medisoft and how are they entered in the EMR?

It is correct in stating that there is a mismatch (warning) However, the records all have yellow checks on the edit screen. They should also show up on the main screen with a yellow check mark and one should be able to post from the main screen. This just started happening and makes no sense. According to the documentation warnings post and they have in the past.
Thanks

Did you upgrade your Medisoft during that time? Trying to figure out what might have changed.

Actually, JDL Technologies add a service pack to medisoft.

I viewed the data via ARC32 and see that both the transaction status and claim status are "0". I think that possibly is giving the red X in the Main screen. However in the edit screen, records with no errors show up with a green check and records with warnings have a yellow check.

Could the MWUTC.atd be linked to another table that is causing the problem (HL7Trigger or something else).

Your best best would be to have your VAR get a ticket going with eMDs about this. It sounds like an annoying workflow issue was introduce with the service pack. Was this v21 sp2?

No it was 21.1.2.52. They installed the service pack and there was a problem and they had to reinstall it.
Is it possible for our company to put in a ticket in with eMD or does it have to go through the VAR. Not sure how that works but it would be nice to go directly to the source.

Anyway, thanks for your help.

Since sp1 broke this, there is a chance Medisoft v21 sp2 will fix it. eMDs only works with VARs on Medisoft issues.
