Access Violation at address ******** in module 'MAPA.EXE'
I'm running into this problem:
Medisoft Ver 11, sp3
I go to reports -> Analysis Reports -> Practice Analysis and get this:
I ran all the file maintenance utilities... and even the Invalid character tool (found a few errors, manually fixed them and still get the error)
I opened the ads_err.dbf file on my C:\ drive to look at the errors in Advantage data architect. Here's what I see:
The line that is causing the error in the SRC_LINE column? which would be 2164. Now, how do I know which table to open to look for the bad data?
Thanks in advance for any help.

So, run C:\program files\medisoft\bin\mediutils.exe -> Fix Payment Cross References.
If you don't have MediUtils, then look for FixPax.exe at the same location.
Examine FixPax.log after running this and look for missing payment/adjustment/ or charge codes and re-enter them into your database.
Also, download and install v11 sp4. Some service packs contained fixes to these utilities, so you might as well run with the latest.

I don't have fixpax.exe in the bin folder, but I do have "Repair Payment References" in mediutils. Is that the same thing?Gavin Walker wrote:Usually, when I see this error, I run FixPax. I can't remember if you run the utility directly on v11 or through Mediutils.
