Errors receiving Medicare (direct)

We are having an issue with the Receiving Reports option in Medisoft's EDI module in about 75% of our doctors for Medicare. It started Monday. We have not changed anything in our system. The error is as follows:

“A transmission error occurred, transfer halted. Error: Cannot create file \\ms1\medidata\<PRACTICE>\FLCT\EMC\ANSI3.RPT”

We have tried running file maintenance and it has not helped. We can send just fine in the practices that we cannot receive in.

We are on Medisoft 15 with the latest service packs and we are running the latest EDI module.

I figured out what was wrong. The files were stuck open. The backup script probably kept it open for some reason. Restarting the medidata server that had the backup script fixed the issue.
