Problem During Backups ZIPFORGE ERROR

I am using network pro v19. NOT SP1 w/ HOTFIX- Recently I am seeing a zipforge error while attempting to backup clinic data. Error says that an MW**.add file is unavailable. ABORT RETRY OR IGNORE. I have aborted backup, deleted the 1KB backup and then after awhile tried again to what appears to produce a valid backup file.

What is causing this error and is my data still uncorrupted? I am only seeing this on one particular clinic, other backups run successfully.

Possibly there is interfacing software running that needs to be stopped or someone attempted to log into Medisoft while the backup was running.

Would Pluto Server Medisoft Mobile cause this?

Yes, that is the service Medisoft Mobile or Practice Choice uses to bring charges into Unprocessed Transactions window. If you don't use any of these, then Pluto Server can be stopped (and this will also free a user license).

I have no use for mobile, but what is practice choice. I am using medisoft solely for billing purposes.

Practice Choice is a web-based EMR and/or eRx system that you can sign up for that works with Medisoft. Sounds like you can stop Pluto Server. This is listed as "McKesson MSL Mobile API Server" in your Windows Services.
