835 and 837 Reports

Post by ProCareSabrina » Tue Dec 22, 2020 9:40 am

Can someone tell me where I can find the 835 and 837 report views in Medisoft (V21 SP1)?

Not sure if this is the proper board, but any assistance is appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Hi Sabrina, if you are wanting to modify how these are processed within Revenue Management, then go to Configure > I-Guides. If you are wanting to modify the pre-view reports for these, then I believe you can just start modifying the report right from the preview screen. Good luck with that.

Sorry for delay in my response.
I don't want to modify how they're processed. I am fine with the way they are currently.

I just want to print the 835 version of claim info for my techy guy per his request. :)
I do not see an option to pre-view the claims or reports for this.

Can you provide further clarification? Is this done from Revenue Mgmt Claims Processing screen?

The same is needed for 837 view of ERA. But, I can also contact my clearinghouse to see if they can assist me there.

Thanks again for any and all help!

Hi Sabrina, claims are 837s and ERAs are 835. The claim can be view by clicking the Tech View button right before submitting the claim. For remits, those are stored in the Medidata\RMData\<practice folder>\reports. You can just edit one of them in Notepad and print it. Take care.
