Hello,
My institution just setup a VS running server 2019 and we are using medisoft v20. When setting up the client systems I get the 6420 error. Firewalls were turned off for testing on both client and server to no avail. Network share of the mediata was granted, port was setup.I've also tried the ADS.INI fix.
When testing, I can ping the server from the client. I can also open and explore the mediata folder from the client. I still get the 6420 error when attempting to setup network pro on the client system. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is Advantage installed and running where the Medidata is? Try restarting it.
