Sent claims not showing up on aging

I am finding that some of my outstanding "Sent" claims that show up on the Primary Insurance Collection Report are not showing up on the Primary Insurance Aging Report (and they should be). I'm on Medisoft Advanced v 24. It looks like this is mostly happening with claims that are partially paid (some line items are paid while others are still outstanding. the unpaid items are not marked "complete" and the the claim shows a status of "Sent".

Hmm, the Aging reports were modified with version 24. Did you try any of the aging reports under Reports > Medisoft Reports? Did you purchase your version 24 from us? If so, call in a ticket and we'll try to figure out what is going on. At the very least, we can switch you back to the old aging report from Medisoft version 23 or we can get eMDs to fix it.

When posting ERAs via RM, if even one claim line is paid but other claim lines are not paid (so you uncheck the boxes for those procedures in RM), RM causes the claim status to change from Sent to Done. That may affect the Primary Insurance Aging Report.

That is how RM is supposed to work. Did the EOB not have line items regarding how to apply payment to all the line items on the claim?

I had the same problem when I was on version 19, so it's not new with v 24. The claim is still showing a status of "Sent". The problem happens even when I post payments manually and when one or more lines are incorrectly denied, so they should still show up on the insurance aging report (since they are still "open" and need to be followed up on).

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

It would require a customization to the report. I doubt we can get eMDs to "fix" this. We charge $200 for report customizations.
