Invalid or duplicate adjustment codes! Cannot Save - Revenue Management

Post by g-2018 » Tue Sep 11, 2018 6:25 am

Hello,
I am currently in Version 22 and as of next week after I performed the updates for revenue management stated getting an error when I go under the preferences in revenue management. When I try to save any changes under the preferences I get an error message saying: "Invalid or duplicate adjustment codes! Cannot Save." If I open the Assign posting codes tab there are no columns for any posting codes For some reason I cannot attach the screen shot. I have tried restarting the server and the other machines that connect to the database as well. Please advise.
Thank you,

What about on the Remittance Codes tab? The left pane is the list of Adjustment Codes? Sort by the Code column and see if there are any duplicates? Not sure how you can get anything invalid in here, but look for any values that don't look like the others. Then do a Check For Updates.

I checked for programs updates and I get a message that I have the most recent update.
I click OK in the error window and it opens the preferences.
I checked the Remittance Codes for duplicates and there are none. But the strange part is that everything I had under Assign posting codes tab is wiped out. There are no columns, I tried to add from the grid add buttons but options are grayed out.
I have to close Revenue Management on the task manager because it won't close and keep getting the error.

Will you be available for support so I can call you regarding this issue?
Thank you.

Hello Gavin,
First time I checked I didn't find any duplicates adj codes. However I closed and opened it back again and in fact I did find one duplicate adj code under the Remittance tab, I deleted it but still gave me error when trying to save, so I had to end task for Revenue Management, opened back again and the duplicate adj code was gone and the issue has now been resolved. You were spot-on with your advise. Thank you so much!!!

Sounds like there might be some sort of corruption in your Revenue Management database. It may be easier just to re-set it all back up rather than try to fix it. What clearinghouse do you use? We can set some of them up for FREE. If you need us to set this up for you, then you can browse here https://www.walkerteksolutions.com/prod ... l-support/ and select Revenue Management Setup in the shopping cart.
