Acces Violation 0047DC8D in mapa.exe

Post by cmarrero76 » Tue May 11, 2010 3:25 pm

Keep getting a few access violations when using medisoft 15.1.2.300. The most common one is 0047DC8D, but have gotten 0040494E and 00000000 before. Tried doing the file maintenance as suggested in other posts, and still getting error. any clues???

First, try installing Medisoft v15 sp2 on all your Medisoft machines. This is a free download from our Medisoft Service Packs download page. If that doesn't work, tell us a little more about exactly where in Medisoft you get the error. (Running a particular report, posting payments, or elsewhere?)

the 0047dc8d happens when in claim mgmt and trying to reprint a claim... sometimes. the other errors happen just when changing patients. random but happens much less than first error. will try sp2...

Try clicking each column in the Claim Management grid to sort the grid by that column. Look for any blank or unusual values to sort to the top. Delete out any bad claim records. For example, a record that is all blank with the exception of the claim number should be deleted.
