ERROR- TOO MANY USERS

Post by NJMD » Mon Jul 30, 2018 10:19 am

I have a 3 user license and am on Networking Version 22 SP1 (22.1.2.69)

We sometimes run into an error where it does not login the 3rd user. States too many users when in fact there aren't. We used to get this error in the past when we upgraded to version 19, a few years ago. At the time we were advised to disable Mobile service (which we never used) as apparently, that was using a license. That solved the issue at that time.

Now, this has crept up again in Version 22. Not sure what the issue is. Again I am not using Mobile (although may want to). Somewhere it uses an extra license in the background. Gavin any help will be appreciated. Thanks

There is a new mobile service now. Disable eMDs MSL Connectivity Service.

There is a new mobile service? What is this new mobile service? I’d switch to it because my eMDs mobile service wouldn’t stay started, presumably because of SQLite database locked and I don’t know how to get rid of this lock.

The "new" mobile service is eMDs MSL Connectivity Service. The old service was McKesson MSL Mobile API Server. The old service can be disabled if it was installed on your system.
