Default Screen Grid Headings

We have multiple users and with each upgrade I have to change the screen grid headings on transaction entry and patient ledger to a more user friendly and informative version. This gets set to a default with each upgrade.
There is a way to restore the changes to default but is there a way to change the default setting so that everyone has it? It is very time consuming to change screen settings for EVERY user.
Maybe the information is kept in a file that I can copy to the subdirectory of each user (if one exists)
