Can I create an ASCI x12 file without having revenue management

My boss has been using Medisoft for 12 years. We have purchased the upgrades through the years and currently are using version 19. He has never used revenue management. We are a small enough business that I usually do billing online with Navinet and Availity and paying for a clearinghouse didn't make sense. However, I'm having issues with submitting paper claims with Healthnet, so I'm thinking of trying using Availity's premium access so I can submit them electronically and hopefully get paid. Is it possible to create an ASCI x12 file to send to Availity without having revenue management set up?
