I am manually trying to delete a duplicate patient entry but it fails with the error "Invalid Typecast" and cannot delete the patient.

I get the same error when trying to delete a case first, before deleting the patient.

Any way to get around this?

You might try turning off Audit in Program Options. If that doesn't work, I suspect there is some sort of data corruption in your database.
