UB remarks on electronic claim

When I enter remarks in box item 80 on the UB04 tab, they are not being transmitted on my electronic claims. Do I need to put them somewhere else in Medisoft? I am using Medisoft Advanced version 19 sp. 1.

Are you talking about a claim note? On the Case -> Comments tab there is the EDI Notes frame. That information gets copied to every claim that gets generated for that case to the Claim -> EDI Note tab. You can also do line item notes by clicking the EDI Notes button in Transaction Entry.

I mean the electronic equivalent of box 80. When I put data there (on the UB-04 tab), it's not being electronically transmitted. Looks like it should be in 2300 NTE, so I guess that for paper I have to put it in box 80, and for electronic, I have to follow your instructions.

The problem is there are many different notes that can go into the remarks field. They all go to various different fields in the electronic claim. We'll need to know what note it is that are you trying to send on the claim.
