Reports running extremely slow?

We are running Medisoft v20, Network Pro edition.

Lately, report generation has significantly slowed down, from about 10 minutes to over 4 hours! The effect is most noticeable for printing Remainder Statements. Nothing has changed on our side, except the automatic application of Microsoft security updates. Rebooting the computer and restarting the Advantage server has no effect on the problem. I also noticed that Medisoft used to take about 34 MB of the RAM, but now it seems to be around 25 MB. I am literally stuck, being unable to generate the remainder statements.

Has anyone else run into this problem?

Something wrong with your network maybe? Did you try running from the server machine? Make sure you have 1 Gbps network and it is not wireless.

I probably have to reinstall the client on the server machine and upgrade to 21 at the same time. After the last set of update, I am now getting PH.dll error only on the server ....

The LAN is 1 Gbps, and a wired connection to the server. Good way to start the week!

Yeah, try upgrading to v21 on all your computers.
