Technical problems with Medisoft.

The Advantage Configuration Utility is suddenly missing our installation information and we cannot start the service or access Medisoft. Any idea on how to re-register or enter our installation information? We've been having a lot of problems with Medisoft/Advantage Database Server recently. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Beth, try reinstalling Advantage using the serial # and validation code that was given to you when you bought it with your Medisoft Network Pro.
Here are the links to the Advantage Database Server installs. If you don't know what version of Advantage you have, follow the link under the section for your version of Medisoft.

Thank you for your suggestion. I reinstalled Advantage Database Server using our serial number and validation code via the link provided, but when I open the Advantage Configuration Utility our installation information is still missing and I can't start the service. Any other tips or suggestions? Thank you again.

It sounds like something is wrong. What Windows operating system do you have and what version of Advantage?

We have Medisoft 17, Advantage 10.x and Windows 10.

I am guessing there is an issue between Windows 10 and Advantage 10. I would suggest either rolling back to Windows 7 or 8, or upgrade to Medisoft v21 and Advantage v11 which is compatible with Windows 10.
