Problem with backup

Post by Barbiaux » Fri Nov 04, 2016 10:09 am

The problem I am having is with back up. I used to have a barebones backup that I would restore when we would get a new provider. We have been having this problem for the last year or so. When I go to file, back up, back up data (or any of the backup options). I get the following error.
A backup is already in progress by user [LINDA]

We do have a user Linda in the system but she has a level 3 clearance which doesn't allow her to backup anyways. I have tried restarting all computers including the server. I have run all the file maintences as well. Is there a known solution to this problem?

Look in MediData share on your server for a file named HotBackup.txt and delete it.
