Medinotes Communication Manager Issues? Try this....

If you are using a MediNotes e version 5.0.55 or higher client machine and are having problems with sending bills to MediSoft 12 through the Communication Manager, try this option before calling for support.

In MediNotes e 5.0.55+, go to Tools > Options > Billing Export File Type:
1. Select HL7 in the dropdown list to verify the issue. In the center of the Options box you should see Using Millbrook MIK.
2. Uncheck Using Millbrook MIK
3. Export File Type:
4. Select Communication Manager HL7 and hit OK. If the Milbrook MIK was selected by accident, the bills will be sent without DG Segments and they will not make it across to MediSoft 12. Please note that Medinotes has a ticket their system to remove this setting by default once Communication Manager HL7 is properly selected.
