Allowable Amounts field

I use Medisoft vs 19 at a private business school. When I enter the procedure codes and tab through the line, the allowable amount disappears as soon as I tab through it. Why? and what can I do to save these amounts?

In Edit Procedure Codes, go to the Allowed Amounts tab and enter the allowed amount on the line for each insurance. This feature requires Medisoft Advanced or Network Pro.

I know this is an old post, but is there a way to have medisoft automatically enter these amounts in? I notice that there are some allowbles entered, but I didn't do it, they are old amounts from some time ago and I was wondering if there was something that changed as I thought it was supposed to update the allowed amounts field when we entered claims. I want to be able to print a list of allowables but it doesn't appear to updating that automatically.

Go to File -> Program Options -> Payment Application Tab and mark the option Update Allowed Amount. This will cause Deposit Entry to update your allowed amounts as you enter them.
