Solved!! Was: Unable to open Revenue Management

In case anyone else has had, is having, or will have the same problem, here's the solution I posted to the original thread:

1. Open Windows Task Manager and search for any RM related files open and running in the background under Applications and Services, such as Revenue Manager Reports, patch exe, and Revenue Manager.

2. Delete them all and then search for more files (just in case) and delete these too

3. If you had already downloaded the new version RM <patch.exe> that comes from www.sendclaim.com, then close any RM or Medisoft routine that may be open.

4. Go to the C:\Medisoft\BIN\RCM folder, where <patch.exe> was downloaded, and click on it to run it outside RM or Medisoft.

That did the trick! It ran and installed the new RM version successfully.

What I don't know is if all these RM related files are supposed to remain active when both Medisoft and RM are closed. Or if they are to remain active in the background, whey would they interfere with updating RM and not the Claims Editor Update.

Oh, and check Processes too under Task Manager.
