V19 Primary Insurance Aging

Post by lgs1998 » Tue Apr 26, 2016 12:06 pm

:( HI!
We are using Medisoft v19 and are attempting to print a primary insurance aging, but we would like to be able to put from this date to this date and not just all billed since many years ago. Is there a way to do this?

Also..we have several old open patient accounts with balances (like over 10 yrs old) that we would like to permanently close and/or delete. Is there a way to do that without going case by case to delete?

Thank you in advance and bless you for this forum!!

Older versions of Medisoft allowed a from date on the aging reports, but those reports were not accurate. Starting with Medisoft v15 all the Aging Reports were re-written to just do an "As Of" date. If you have Medisoft Advanced or Network Pro, we have some custom aging reports that allow a date from, but keep in mind these reports are not accurate. I'll let you have them "as is" for $45. Private message me if you want them.

There is no bulk write-off utility. The closest thing we have is the small balance write-off that only writes off small balances and requires Network Pro.

There is also the Archive Utility that lets you close zero balance cases and archive them in Network Pro only. This utility can take a long time to run and you will see only minimal performance gains. You'll want to run this utility for 1 letter of the alphabet every night so that it is in chunks that can finish each night.
