Medisoft Mobile Local Network Problems

For Medisoft Mobile I am having trouble getting the program to work if I'm connected to my local network. If I'm using wi-fi to connect to my "Home" network, then I cannot launch Mobile (it says Host is down). BUT if I use my phone's hotspot (so essentially I'm connecting remotely) then I have no problem launching Mobile.

So I guess it has to do with the settings but I would think Mobile would work locally. How do I get my "local" wi-fi network to be recognized so I can connect Mobile to my network?

My guess is it has to do with your router. It is not allowing you to access your server via external ip if you are on the local network. Some routers cannot be configured like this. The good news is McKesson is reworking the server for the mobile app so that it will work through virtually any firewall. This may come along on Medisoft version 21 though.
