Data Conversion to .csv or excel file

Post by BradfordChiro » Mon Dec 07, 2015 2:20 pm

How do I put all of my patient demographics and insurance profiles into a .csv or Excel file so I can export it into a different software?

If you have Medisoft Advanced or Network Pro, on any of your lists, there is a Print Grid button. In there is an option to check to export to a .CSV instead of printing to a printer.

Is there a way to specify it to show Insurance IDs under the patient's insurance profile and the patient's DOB and SS# under their demographics instead of just the type of insurance they have and their address?

Well that is stored on the case. If you have Medisoft v15 or higher go to Reports -> Medisoft Reports -> Focus on Date -> Export Case Data.

Is there a way to edit the template so that it only shows certain things? That has all the info we need plus way too much that we don't need. We don't need 9,000+ pages of info. We just need to have a few things taken off of the original template if that makes sense.

Yeah, if you have Medisoft Reports Pro, you can modify the report however you want. Otherwise, you will need to work with a Medisoft VAR who can do the data extract for you. I would need to see the .CSV export format in order to provide a quote. Private message me if you need our help.
