Entering Charges & Defaulting Date Error

Post by rachelr » Mon Oct 19, 2015 8:49 am

Good Morning,
We are having an issue with charges in the transaction entry screen. When a past date is entered in the "date to" column, it automatically defaults to todays date and will not save as the date originally entered. We then get an pop up that says " Diagnosis Code Set Warning: The Diagnosis Code Set mapped to your primary insurance is missing for the following diagnosis codes:" The IDC10 diagnosis codes then turn red.
Is there a date and time setting in Medisoft that can be causing everything to be defaulted to todays date?
Please let me know if there is anything we can do to correct this or why this is happening. Thank you!

Medisoft will not allow you to enter a Date To that occurs before Date From. If you do, then it will default to whatever you typed in Date From. So, the solution is to change your Date From first and then your Date To.
