alert pops up in new patients

Post by dkennelly » Fri Oct 16, 2015 4:16 pm

This is kind of an odd one, and I can't figure it out!
When I have the alert for "in collection" checked and create a new patient, when I go to open the transaction window for that patient and create a case, the IC alert is there. Obviously, there are not even any transactions yet!
If the alert is off and I create a patient and case, then turn the alert back on, it doesn't show up. It only happens when the alert is on and I create a new patient.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Hmm, I was not able to duplicate your issue. I have Net Pro v20. Did you create the patient through the patient list or quick entry?

I create the patient through the transaction window. As I'm putting in charges, if it is a new patient, I hit F8 and create a new patient. I have two data sets for two different offices. This is only happening in one data set, the other one works fine.

I am guessing there is a default setup in your database. Create another new patient, hold the CTRL key and click Remote Default button.

I actually fixed it. I created a new patient, but left everything blank and hit "set as default". Didn't find a Remote Default button, but setting the defaults all to blanks seemed to do the trick. I no longer have the problem.
Thank you so much for your help!

Holding the CTRL key reveals the Remove Default button. Glad just setting the default again fixed it.
