Yes, we have seen this plenty. In most cases, everything will appear to be working fine until you try to add a practice, and then you will discover you cannot add a practice. The practice list is in the Medidata root folder. Due to the number of issues we experience converting Medidata root folders, we never do that anymore. Instead we create a brand new Medidata root folder and then copy the practice data over from the old Medidata root. You can hold F7 while starting Medisoft if you need to point it to a new server share (or move the share over to the new root). If you are handy with ARC32 and SQL, you can copy the contents of the old MWDBList.adt file to the new one that is generated. If you are on Medisoft v14 or older, you will have to reinstall Medisoft again to get the Crystal Reports installed into the new Medidata root folder.
