diagnosis does not appear in the print to text file. We do not use RM

We are using Medisoft v20. We use Solace for claims processing. We do not use Revenue Management. We use the print to text option in claims management and since ICD-10 implementation, find that the diagnosis does not appear in the file. Can someone give me some insight on this.

That is because the print image that comes with Medisoft was not updated for ICD-10. You need to switch to RM and generate ANSI 5010 claims directly using Medisoft instead of using Solace to convert your print image to ANSI 5010.

Thanks, but I think we figured out the problem. Some of the ICD-10 codes were missing from the table. Once we corrected this we could see the diagnosis code in the file. We used the Claims Management print image and the codes are showing up. By the way, this forum is a wealth of information. Thank you for all you efforts in this regard.
