DATA ENTRY: icd-10 codes not showing up, we have medisoft 19 version

we've manually updated our ICD9 to ICD10 but now its Oct 1, 2015 (dooms day)!
when I enter a transaction the ICD 10 does not show up. what do I do? what did I do wrong?
I did the mapping , did the conversions....am I missing something?

When you go into the Diagnosis List, do you seen the ICD-10 codes listed there? Medisoft v19 (without the service pack) had a bug in the mapping utility that generated the ICD-10 codes incorrectly. Try going to C:\Medisoft\Bin and run ClearICD10Utility.exe to fix this.

I have Medisoft 20 version it still defaults to to ICD 9 even though we have ICD codes on them
Do you know if 20 version has the same bug problem?

Right-click on Windows Start and select File Explorer.

We did this & some diagnosis still defaulting to ICD 9( these are the ones we manually entered the correct ICD codes)

Kids,

I'm running into the same problem and I have version 20 and also can't update the Claims Editor. I pretty much have absolutely everything listed as ICD-10.
There's a section under File, Program Options, HIPAA-ICD-10 tab, at the bottom of the pop up window is a new default icd setting/version, it lists ICD-10.
We have a converted diagnosis code listing the ICD-10,
we also have the start date before the actual date of service,
we also have it listed under the insurance as ICD-10.

Yet, when we create a claim, submit claim, check claim...the diagnosis is rejected, when we correct it to submit we can see in the tech view that the claims diagnosis is listed as : BK which means...9. It should be ABK for 10.
The section is in Loop 2300, Segment HI. I can not for the life of me get this to show up as ABK. Been using Medisoft for 18 years now....this one has be stumped but I'll keep trying. Any input from someone would be greatly appreciated. :?

Hello Gavin,

If this was directed at me, yes, we did. We're actually trying to install on a different system and use a restore backup in hopes that'll fix it. Have that sinking feeling it won't.

UPDATE: Found the issue, all I can say is not everything was updated, to include the IG in Revenue Management. :D

Where are you expecting to see the ICD10s? In transaction entry if you type in the ICD9 it will not automatically pull an ICD10 for you. In transaction entry you need to either search for the ICD9 by right clicking on Dx box and selecting search or hit f6 with box highlighted. The code that shows in transaction entry will always be the "Code" field and not the ICD9 or 10 field of the code. As long as the ICD10 field is filled in with the proper code and the insurance is set correctly it will select the proper code to print/send.
