MAPA Violation after printing from Medisoft

Post by Gavin Walker » Wed Apr 22, 2009 12:46 pm

Every time a statement was printed directly to the printer (or most any report for that matter), a MAPA violation error would appear and Medisoft would crash. The Medisoft User would then be locked out of Medisoft for 20 minutes or so.

In this case it was Medisoft v12 sp2 running on Windows XP Pro printing to a Samsung Monochrome Laser Printer.

The solution for this problem we found was to uncheck the Enable Bidirectional Printer Communication in the Printer Properties.
