On just one of our practices attempts to backup the data using Medisoft backup brings the message \"Insert second disk of series.\" There is no second disk in the series and there is plenty of room on the disk to which we are trying to backup. Inserting a new empty disk brings \"Drive not ready.\" What's going on?

We can and do use Windows backup when we have problems with Medisoft backup, which, with your help, we have mostly been able to solve.

Try clicking Find and backup to an alternate location. We have had the best luck backing up to an external USB drive. The error indicates there was a problem writing the backup to the disk. Either the media is bad, there is something wrong with the disk drive, or possibly the file Medisoft is trying to add to the archive is too big to fit on even an empty floppy disk.
