We thought we had this one licked after we updated to V12.17. But it has returned. In trying to file a claim we get the message \"Another authorized user is currently accessing the EMF mailbox.\" Every attempt to file a claim brings this message. We had the problem before. After many hours it would go away and we could file claims for awhile until the problem recurred. Installing V12.17 made the problem go away but today it has returned, but on only one of four practices. Ours is a single user issue of Medisoft V12.17. The clearing house is RelayHealth. Any ideas?

Issue:
The above-mentioned error occurs when an EMF mailbox session is still active.

This error is caused by:

· More than one (1) person in the practice trys to transmit or receive reports at the same time

· Computer might have hung up or froze during transmission causing the mailbox to lock

Solution:
Make sure no one is trying to transmit or receive reports in the practice for one (1) hour from the last time the message appeared.

Once again , many thanks.The problem seems to appear when many claims are being posted in a short time. The mailbox seems to choke.
