Medisoft Version 19 I finally got rid of the previous error message

I have one left and it is "facility is required and appears to be your office facility"
In the facility I have "send facility on claim FA-facility" The facility NPI in addition to that.

I have checked all my set up for the ASC/UB04 and I am finding nothing in the case or practice either.

Ideas? :D It is probably something very obvious :lol:

Anything is appreciated.

Did you setup the Facility on the Case and the Charge?

yes the facility is set up in the case and on the charge for each line item.

What place of service code are you using and is the facility you have selected on the charge your office?

Place of Service code is 24 for this ASC.

I dont understand the second part of your question.

I did take the electronic claim and changed the media to paper/UB04 to view it to see if anything was incorrect and that is not the case for the paper claim.

You are getting a warning that you are using your office along with the 24 place of service code. If this is correct, then you can ignore the warning and possibly delete this common edit.

Gavin,

We're aving the same issue.

Everything is setup accordingly in Medisoft v20 but we're still getting this error with all claims that are set to 22 for POS (out patient hospital). RM will not send these claims and when you print a paper claim, our office info is listed under 32 and not the hospital. It appears there is no link between POS 22 and the hospital facility when sending the claims through RelayHealth.

Please let me know if you can assist.

What facility do you have selected then? Your office? Try setting up the outpatient facility as a facility in Medisoft and make sure that facility is selected on the charge that has place of service 22.

The facility selected in the Case is the hospital and the claim has POS as 22. BTW there was an update to RM before I tried to send the claims.

Also, of the 20 claims I sent, 11 went through to RelayHealth and 9 came back with 999 response. Not sure what the issue is....waiting for Dylan to call me on this...

Look at each individual charge line. If you don't have a column for Facility, click the dot at the upper left corner of the charge entry grid and add the Facility column.
