Final Draft v14 Beta

Post by Gavin Walker » Thu Apr 17, 2008 11:24 am

There has been an issue with running Final Draft v14 since it was released.

Final Draft starts up and says it is an expired beta version and will not run.

The solution for this can be found in Medisoft Knowledgebase Article #131838

One word of warning, if you install this fix using the default options, your Office Hours Basic will stop functioning. To properly install the Final Draft fix, do a custom install and uncheck ALL installation options except Final Draft.

However, I'm wondering if there is an easier method to launch the Letter Wizard - F9 from within medisoft?

The only way I know to launch the letter wizard is to launch Final Draft first.

To correct the original issue that I posted about, you should now install Medisoft v14 service pack 2. This also corrects the issue with the Office Hours that was caused by the original knowledge base article.
