Uapplied amounts

I have unapplied amounts showing up on some accounts on the patient aging report, but I can not locate any unapplied amounts withing the patients' accounts (running the unapplied amounts reports amd manually looking through all payments and adjustments has not shown anything). Any idea on how to locate and correct these?

Run a backup and then have everyone get out of Medisoft/Office Hours. This includes stopping all interfaces that you might have running.

Then run \Medisoft\Bin\MediUtils.exe -> Fix Payment References.

This creates a log file called \Medisoft\Bin\FixPax.log. Go through the log and note any missing charge/payment/adjustment codes and then add them back into your database. Delete the log file and re-run the process until no more missing codes are found.

If you notice junk entries in your log, or if you get a runtime error running this process, then you probably have some sort of corruption that will need to be fixed.
