Error: Report Patient_Day_Sheet.rpt not found in database

When trying to run reports in Medisoft, such as the Patient Day Sheet or an Insurance Aging report, you may get the error \"Report Patient_Day_Sheet.rpt not found in database\" (\"Patient_Day_Sheet\" will be replaced by the name of the report you are trying to run). The following steps will guide you in resolving this error:

1. Browse to your Medisoft installation and open the Bin folder. This is typically located in C:\\Program Files\\Medisoft, unless you have chosen to install Medisoft to a different location.

2. Search through the bin folder until you find a series of files that begin with \"ReportData\". You will be looking for a set of four files that begin with ReportData and end with bdl, csp, bdl3, and csp3. Here is an example:

ReportData2007-11-06_15-03-42-507_bdl
ReportData2007-11-06_15-03-42-616_csp
ReportData2007-11-06_15-03-51-423_bdl3
ReportData2007-11-06_15-03-51-610_csp3

Your files will not have the exact same dates and times as the files above. You may also have several sets of these files with different dates and times than each other. You will want to find the set that has the most recent dates.

3. Rename all four files and replace the date and time with a period ( . ).

ReportData.bdl
ReportData.csp
ReportData.bdl3
ReportData.csp3

4. Run Medisoft and log into the practice that is receiving this error. Upon logging in, you will notice the Reports menu disappear for a short time. This is due to Medisoft installing the reports into your practice. *Note* Running this fix for one practice will repair any other practice that is accessed by the same practice list.
