Losing data path in DNS server

We just recently updated to Server 2008 R2 and it was configured by the computer tech DNS however after we assigned all workstations to the new server and data path it keeps losing this information. I know that on 2003 server it had to be configered with users and have the computer name and password. With it set up DNS I do not know how to configure this any help?

This information is stored in the Windows Registry. It sounds like maybe your security is set too tight and preventing Medisoft from writing to the Registry.
