Do I install v17 SP2 without having installed SP1?

Using v17 w/o problems.
Never installed SP1 and still have no problems running any v17 function.

I saw SP2 release notes about fixing the inability to delete cases (which I suffer from) and the perennial phantom "user still logged on" (when I'm the only user). I'm willing to install SP2 just to fix these 2 problems.

So, can I install SP2 over v17 if I never installed SP1 or must I first install SP1, make sure it did not mess anything up, then install SP2?

Yes, Medisoft v17 sp2 includes everything that is in v17 sp1.

Then, in general, do succeeding SP updates generally include all fixes provided by prior SP updates?

Yes, they have been all inclusive since v10 sp1.
