Telehealth Modifiers
In addition to the place of service code, what modifier is needed to successfully bill a telehealth claim?

That depends on the insurance involved and how you are doing your telehealth visits.
GQ - Only required when the insurance is Medicare and asynchronous communication such as texting is used for the telehealth visit.
GT and UI-UD - Only required when the insurance is Medicaid depending on your state. Some states do not require a modifier.
95 - Required by most commercial insurance.
