PATIENT LEDGER

Post by ALI » Mon Feb 27, 2017 4:56 pm

hi

I need to print out a quick ledger to prove timely filing to a carrier. On this particular account, it's only listing payments and entries and not the dates that billed the carrier or the patient. Is there something I need to check somewhere so that all the information regarding transactions are showing up on the ledger? Thank you! Ali

Hi Ali, do you use RelayHealth? If so, log into ConnectCenter and go to Reports -> Payer Report Search and see if you can find a Claim Acknowledgement report for that claim. They will be more likely to accept that report than anything you can print out of Medisoft.

Alternatively, you can try printing the Insurance Payment Tracer report out of Claims Management.

Thanks Gavin! I do use Relay and I'll go in and look for that report.

The Claim Tracer should be in the same list where you pick which CMS-1500 or UB04 form to use to print out your claim.
