Understanding EDI Details

Post by drmcj888 » Sun Oct 20, 2013 2:14 pm

Aloha,

Any suggestions on how to come up to speed with Medisoft and EDI?

We are using v 18 with revenue management and Capario as clearinghouse

I need to be able to understand the claim errors and how to fix them

I also would like to understand more about "Batches" of claims.

You will need to work with someone who can train you on Medisoft. We charge $125/hour for training or $95/hour if your purchase 4 hours or more.

Thanks for your responses. I guess I was expecting this to be a forum where users contributed to answers as well as you. I am capable of reading technical documentation and, in lieu of having community support, I would like to read on my own. I also have database skills. My problem is that the documentation on Medisoft is really lacking in details. Moreover, following some of the directions directly from Medisoft has led me to corrupting certain parts of the code such as revenue management.

I am looking for good technical documentation and active community forums on the topics I listed.

Mahalo for your support!

Well, provide the details of a specific error and we will try to answer your question. Leave anything off that might identify a specific patient. It is usually best to provide the entire error message you get back from the clearinghouse.
