Re: Medisoft v8 SP1
1. Create a share on your Medisoft root data folder (usually c:\Medidata). Call the share Medidata and give all users read and write rights to the share.
2. Rename C:\Medidata\mwdblist.adt to mwdblist.backup
3. Start up Medisoft. It will prompt for the Medisoft root data folder. Enter \\<server name>\medidata. Where <server name> is the name of your server within Windows. Click OK.
4. You will be prompted that this is a new Medidata root data folder. Click OK.
5. You will be presented with a blank practice list. Re-add your practices back into the list. If you click Browse, you should see a sub-folder for each practice. Browse into each practice sub-folder and enter a name for the practice within the list.
6. Repeat step #3 from each of your workstations. If you have problems with this step, then double check the security you have setup on the Medidata share or your firewall settings.
