How to reset Practice Analysis Report processes?

Dear Gavin,

We were having trouble with our Practice Analysis Reports taking a VERY LONG TIME to run (like 8 -10 hours) and you provided our IT guy (Matt) with an easy way to fix this. It was sometime between 01/2022 and 04/2022. Unfortunately, he can't find his notes and can't log into your support portal anymore.

Can you please provide us with these instructions again?

Mara, what version of Medisoft do you have? Go to Help > About Medisoft to see your version.

Either you have a very large database or a very slow server. It normally doesn't take that long. You should have your Medisoft reseller look into that.

At that time, you were working with my IT guy to get v26 installed and he mentioned that our reports were taking 8-10 hours to process. He remembers that you had him open a file and delete out the logs that were slowing down processing speeds. Our reports went from 8 hours to about 3 seconds! Ring any bells?

Our reports are taking about a minute now and we want to stay on top of this to keep things running efficiently. ~M

Now that you are on Medisoft v26, you won't have this issue anymore. That was a bug in Medisoft v19 that required the service pack and hot-fix to correct.
