Is McKesson continuing the policy of prior Medisoft versions and allowing try-before-you-buy?
Thanks.

There is a 30-day trial for Medisoft and Office Hours Pro. Most other add-on products to Medisoft do not have a 30-day trial. Advantage Database has a trial, but you have to request it direct from http://www.advantagedatabase.com. The trial will convert your data up to version 16 data schema, so if you decide not to buy, you have to restore from backup prior to installing version 16 for your older Medisoft to continue working properly.

I was beginnng to wonder... as I haven't yet seen anyone offering to trade contact information for the demos.
I have a test machine, and would just scrap the converted database after playing with it for a while.
I'm sure Medisoft 16 would be right at home talking to our existing ADS 9.1.

I wonder if they have finally added support for a 64-bit ADS server...

You can download the Medisoft v16 install from here: http://www.medisoft.com/download/V16/Me ... elease.iso You can install this as a demo which is limited to just 24 patients or you can install the Network Pro version which will run for 30 days without registration. The install comes with ADS v9.0, but it works just fine with ADS v9.1. As far as I know it is still limited to just the 32-bit ADS server, but the 32-bit ADS sever runs just fine on a 64-bit O/S.

You can use 7Zip to extract the files from the .ISO file or use some CD burning software to create a CD from the .ISO file.

Thank you, Gavin.
Yes, that's what we have been doing: Running ADS 32-bit on our Server 2003 x64 machine.

Would there be an equivalent demo link for OH Pro?

Edit: Nevermind, http://www.medisoft.com/download/V16/Of ... elease.iso seems to work.
