Sorting charges

I'm wondering if I can sort the charges in the transaction entry screen. A charge was forgotten and then added, but when i pull a report that added charge does not fall in line with the similar dates its always at the end of the report, how can I get the reports to resort the charges so they are in order of the date of the charge? Im still using an older version, version 9

That option was added on v15 Advanced or higher.

Now I have upgraded to v16, and the charges do sort by date range in the transaction entry, charges section. However, is there a trick to getting a "canned" report to sort the charges correctly? The last entered charge shows at the end of the report instead of in line with the other charges for that date as seen in transaction entry. Thanks in advance.

It depends on which report you are talking about.

If you edit a statement management report template and then go to properties -> data filters tab. There is a Sort By question there and you can change it to sort by Date, or you can have it ask the question and then you can change the sort order on the range entry screen.
